Our team has more than 15 years of experience cooking the dishes we grew up with: handmade momos, charcoal-grilled sekuwa, slow-simmered curries, and breads and kebabs fresh from the tandoor. Our story

About

Himalayan Taj is a family restaurant on NASA Parkway in Houston's Bay Area, a few minutes from Space Center Houston. Our team has more than 15 years of experience cooking Indian and Nepali food, and the menu is the one we know best: handmade momos folded to order, charcoal-grilled sekuwa, curries simmered slowly in the pan they are served from, and naan and kebabs straight out of the tandoor. There are two dining rooms and a full bar with draft beer, wine and spirits. The lunch buffet runs every day of the week, and the second room is available for family gatherings and private events. Whatever brings you in, you will be looked after — our regulars tell us the naan and the drinks keep coming without being asked.

The buffet is laid out hot and fresh through the whole lunch service: vegetarian and meat curries, rice, and naan brought to the table as you eat. The selection changes day to day, so there is always a reason to come back. You can also order anything from the full menu instead — the buffet is an option, never a requirement.
